Chairman: Alhaji (Dr.) A. Muhammadu, Emir of Fika
Prior to his enthronement as the Emir, Alhaji Muhammadu was a Commissioner in the North-Eastern and Borno State Governments. He joined the Board of NGC in May 1979 and became the Chairman of the Board in March 1993. He is also an eminent member of the Traditional Rulers Council of Nigeria.
Executive Vice-Chairman: Mr. Adeboye Shonekan
A lawyer by profession, Mr. Shonekan graduated from the University of Reading in U.K. He joined the Company in 1995 as the Executive Director responsible for Materials Management, Logistics and Import Financing. Prior to joining NGC, he worked with the International Finance Corporation, a subsidiary of the World Bank.
Executive Director - Pharma Production: Mr. S. Y. Osewa:
is a pharmacist and manages the Pharmaceutical Production Division. He joined the Company in 1982 and is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and the past President of the National Association of Industrial Pharmacists.
Executive Director - Financial Controller: Mr. T. S. Seenivasan:
Aged 45 years, is an accomplished Chartered Accountant and a fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants Of India. He has over 20 years experience in key managerial positions in the finance function of reputable companies in India. Before joining us, he has, since 1996 been with the Comcraft group in Nigeria and as Vice President (Finance), been managing the financial and commercial affairs of Midland Galvanizing Products Limited and its associate companies of aggregate turnover of
N2.8 billion. Mr. Seenivasan joined NGC in 1999 and was appointed to the board on the 26th of April 2000. He is married with two children and enjoys Photography during leisure.Non-Executive Director: Mr. Bob Ndiokwere:
Mr. Ndiokwere holds a degree in textile engineering from UTE Reutlingen, Germany and an Masters degree in Fibre Science and Technology from the University of Leeds. He joined the Company in 1973 and was appointed Executive Director, Industrial Chemicals in 1999. After over 25 years tireless service, has now become a non-executive Director following his retirement from service.
Non-Executive Director: Alhaji (Dr.) A. Fika (The Waziri of Fika):
is the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission. He has served in the Civil Service at both State and Federal levels in various positions which include Commissioner for Finance - North-Eastern State and Permanent Secretary to several ministries. He retired from the Service as the Head of the Civil Service in 1988. He is currently the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission. He joined the Board of NGC in July 1993.
Non-Executive Director: Mr. Tom Lindsay:
Since Hoechst disinvested in the Company, through TradeLink International Ltd., Tom has provided NGC with management and logistics support. Drawing on over 30 years experience in senior positions within the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, including: supply chain management; logistics; wholesale and retail distribution; training and marketing, Tom was, most notably, a senior executive of the Hoechst Group responsible for pharmaceutical activities in sub-Saharan Africa. He Joined the Board in 2000.
Non-Executive Director: Dr. M. Abba Aji
is a seasoned public administrator and has served in the Civil Service in both sate and Federal levels since 1979. His area of specialization is financial management and has served as DG-Parastatals and DG-Min of Finance and Economic Development. He is currently the MD/CEO of the Nig Social Insurance Trust Fund. He joined the Board in 2001.
Non-Executive Director: Mr. Gbadegesin Balogun:
is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience spanning such corporations as UAC and NBL. He rose to the position of Finance Controller, UAC and was the Managing Director of GBO/MDS - a Division of UAC. He joined the Board of NGC in 1999.
Company Secretary / HOD Human Resources: Ms. R. U. Etukudo:
is the Company Secretary / HOD Human Resources. She is a lawyer by profession and joined the Company as Assistant Company Secretary / Legal Adviser in 1993. She has 11 years cognate experience in Company and commercial law and personnel administration.
Head of Healthcare Business Unit: Mr. E. A. Oshunniyi:
is the Head of the Healthcare Business Unit, which covers both Human and Animal health products. He is a pharmacist by profession and joined the Company n 1980 as a medical Representative. He was promoted to Product Manager and became Branch Manager in 1993. In 1996, he became the Head of the Healthcare Business Unit.
Head of International Business operations: Mr. Michael Ajayi -
who is the head of the international business operations of NGC is the General Manager of TradeLink Ghana. He joined NGC in 1997 as Business Development Manager and later became the Head of the Consumer Household Products Division from where he was appointed to his new position. He holds a first degree in Social Sciences and an MBA in Marketing. Has over 13 years experience in marketing.
Head of Information Technology: Mr. K. S. Bose:
is the Head of the Information Technology Department. He joined NGC in 1999 and holds a first degree in Mathematics from the University of Delhi and a Master of Computer Application. He has over 10 years experience in information technology in various multi-national companies.
Controller - Sales & Marketing: Mr. B. Kapil
Joined the Company in 2000 in his current role after working in various capacities over the years such as General Manager with Godrej Pillsbury, Becton-Dickinson, Schiaparelli Diagnostics and Nichol's Diagrostics. He has a PhD in Consumer Behavior, an MBA from India's number 1 Institute and a Bachelor's in Vet Science. He has over 16 years experience of Marketing, Sales and Project Management.
Marketing Manager: Mr. H. Olayode
Joined NGC as Marketing Manager in 2001. He is a Pharmacist and has over 10 years experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing. He has held various positions in Pfizer and Reals Pharmaceuticals Ltd (the Nigerian representative of Astrazeneca) before joining NGC PLC.

TradeLink Ghana Ltd.
TLG was incorporated in 1997 in Ghana for the manufacture and marketing of pharmaceutical, household, industrial and agro-chemicals, veterinary chemicals and to export to other ECOWAS countries. TLG is a collaboration between NGC and TradeLink International Ltd., of the United Kingdom.
NGC Oil Services Ltd.
NGC Oil Services Limited was incorporated in 1995 to market and sell oil field and related chemicals. Its technical partner is T.R. Oil Services of the U.K.
The company is managed by Mr. O.N. Akinsola, a Chemical Engineer who holds an MBA.
